So, this was in short, what I’m doing now. If you would like to know more about me, read on 😇
My long story
I started my professional journey in the year 2004 in a reputed software company as a software developer. Worked in the IT industry for about 8 years.
I loved my profession so much and enjoyed working on challenging tasks. It was all going well and I was then working in the morning shift. Back in 2017, my health was deteriorating. It was not supporting me to work and I had to opt for sick leave.
My boss didn’t agree to my leave and he asked me several questions as if he was not trusting my words. I was one of the best team players within the team and I felt extremely down with his behavior.
This is the time I realized that never love your company because the company will not love you. You can love your profession, but not your company.
Of course, I should not forget to mention that I received tremendous support from many of my colleagues, even my boss’s boss and other managers were supporting me. But then, I made a firm decision to quit my job immediately.
I quit my job in 2017, took my treatment, and later I didn’t want to join any other company. Rather, I felt being my own boss would give me the freedom to do what I want to do and when I want to do it.
I want to be able to work on my business from home. With a business of my own, it gives me the satisfaction of working on the client’s projects from start to finish.
However, being my own boss also means that I’m in charge of my mistakes and I must work hard in order to get the results I want. I was motivated to work hard and do my best!
Initially, I struggled a lot to find genuine work from home or a Freelancing client. Sent tons of cold emails, none worked out.
I was not sure what I should provide as a service as I knew only coding and I loved it. Later, I found that Website designing is something that I could add as my service as it caters to my strengths.
I started my own website in 2018 and started providing website design as a service to the clients. I loved to share my knowledge, so simultaneously, I started my YouTube channel too and shared my knowledge over there.
I got a few recurring freelancing clients for development and it was all going smooth. I never went ahead and looked for new clients as I was happy with my existing clients. Also, I was getting the clients through word-of-mouth marketing.
Later, I felt that providing only website design will not help my client to get the desired results for their business. That is when I started exploring online marketing.
I tried to niche down and see whom I like to work with the most and what best services I can do to help them.
I started following many trainers and tried to figure out their pain points. I found that they spend a lot on LMS and also editing could be a tedious job for the trainers. It consumes too much of their productive time.
Since I was sharing my knowledge on YouTube, I learnt the video editing skills to edit my videos and I really fell in love with video editing.
Video editing and tech support can be complicated things to tackle. They often require lots of time and effort, so it’s important to get help from a professional who can help you save time and do a great job.
I decided that I would work with online trainers or coaches and being a techie, I would help them in building their website, online course set-up, funnel building, tech support, video editing, or even making tech training video tutorials.
And when I’m free, I explore the latest updates on technology and different digital marketing tools that can best suit my clients. So, as a whole, I’m a one-stop solution for any kind of tech support related to your training business needs.
Whether you need help with video editing, tech support, or just need someone to design your funnels, I will be happy to assist you.
This is a glimpse of my journey and it continues…
I’m glad that you read about me till this point. I wish you good luck with your business. If you would like to get in touch with me, just send me an email.
